MS Outlook
Outlook 2007 and later are supported in "Outlook Anywhere" mode. Please ensure that your copy of Outlook is fully up-to-date before starting, by visiting the Microsoft Office Update site. You will also need to be using Windows Vista or later.
Start by running the Mail utility in the Windows Control Panel. If you already have an email profile on your computer, you will see a window with a Show Profiles... button; click that button. If you don't already have a profile, you will be taken straight to the next stage.
In the Mail window, you will see a list of the profiles that are set up on the computer. Click Add... and, in the New Profile window, give your profile a descriptive name - for example: LGfL-j.smith123.302. Click OK.
In the Add New E-mail Account window, type your name into the Your Name box, and then your main email address - j.smith123.302@lgflmail.org - into the E-mail Address box. Type your USO password (the same as you used to log into this site) into the Password fields, then click Next.
If you get a security warning asking whether to Allow this website to configure 'j.smith123.302@lgflmail.org' server settings - https://mail.lgflmail.org/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml, click Allow; if you don't want to receive this warning in the future click Don't ask me about this website again.
In the Connect to E19PWG69.lgflmail.org box that pops up, type LGFLMAIL\j.smith123.302 into the User name field and your USO password into the Password box, then click OK.
In the Congratulations window, click Finish then you can click OK in the Mail utility window.
Run Outlook.
If you want to make StaffMail your default Outlook profile, and avoid the Choose Profile prompt, close Outlook then run the Mail utility in the Windows Control Panel. In that utility, choose Show Profiles... and select Always use this profile, after ensuring that your preferred profile is selected in the drop-down list.
